Analytic Applications Firm Biz360 Gets $6.25M in Series B
San Mateo, Calif. -- Biz360, a provider of analytic
applications for external information, is expected to announce it has raised
$6.25 million in its Series B round of funding.
New investor Foundation Capital led the up round, with participation from
new investor Geneva Ventures and previous investors Adobe Ventures and
Granite Ventures. Bill Elmore, a partner at Foundation Capital, will join
the board as its fourth member.
The company will use the funds to expand its staff across the board. The
company has 20 employees and expects to have about 50 people by the end of
2002. The company also said it expects to hit profitability by 2002.
This round of funding brings the company's total raised to date to $9.5
million.
