Keith Van Sickle, Executive-in-Residence

Keith Van Sickle joins Foundation with over 25 years experience in finance and operations. Having run finance, marketing, customer service and manufacturing teams both in the US and overseas, his focus at Foundation will be to assist portfolio companies with their financial roadmaps.

Most recently, Keith was CFO of Tensilica, a provider of microprocessor intellectual property. Keith was part of the founding team and helped build Tensilica into a profitable company whose customers ship hundreds of millions of Tensilica microprocessors annually. Prior to that, Keith was the general manager of Silicon Graphics’ European Manufacturing and Technology center, where he also ran European customer service. Keith previously held financial and operating management positions at MIPS, KLA-Tencor and Teradyne.

Keith has a BSIE from Stanford and an MBA from Harvard. He and his wife have run a scholarship foundation in his home town of Alameda for over 20 years, helping to send students to college. In his spare time, Keith travels widely, speaks French badly, and drinks French wine enthusiastically.
