Our Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) program allows a select few to apply their knowledge and experience to the mission of developing a solid business plan for an emerging technology. Foundation Capital provides the time, domain expertise, network and capital to entrepreneurs with the expectation that given the proper resources, great minds will come up with great ideas.

To attest to the success of our entrepreneurial philosophy, the Foundation Capital EIR program has resulted in a number of successful ventures: Among them Collabra from EIR Eric Hahn and Synopsys from Harvey Jones.

In the last two years our EIR program has launched ONStor, Hammerhead Systems, , and Solar Flare Communications.
